Fannin County High School FFA members competed in several career development events on Nov. 1 at Etowah High School in Woodstock, GA.

The farm business management team made up of Zachary Franklin, Aaron Walden, Hannah Payne, and Montana Pearson took a 50 question exam over agribusiness curriculum. The team earned a silver emblem by placing in the top two-thirds of the teams.

The junior division floriculture team of Tyler Ford, Brooke Crowder, Alexis Ware, and Kat Mathus took a floriculture industry exam and a flower/ hard goods ID practicum. The team earned a gold emblem.

In the senior division of floriculture Carleigh Mize and Ashley Bell competed. Carleigh earned a gold emblem and Ashley a silver.

Tayelor Long competed in the job interview competition she placed in the top ten out of 30 contestants and earned a gold emblem.
